Harvest Chapel of Venice

Our Mission Statement
The commission and purpose of Harvest Chapel of Venice is to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as set forth in the Old and New Testament scriptures; to practice and promote the Christian Faith according to the Gospel of the New Testament scriptures; to bring people to a belief and relationship with God; and to make disciples, that the great commission may be fulfilled as according to Mark 16:15. As witnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves to winning the lost, making disciples and proclaiming the gospel around the world.

Our Doctrinal Statement

  • We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God.  (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21;1 Thessalonians 2:13)

  • We believe there is one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6)

  • We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38)

  • We believe that everyone is born separated from God by a sinful nature. God sent His son, Jesus, to die and rise again as the one path for salvation.  (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7; Romans 10:9)

  • We believe the Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple people from every nation.  (Matthew 28:18-20: Mark 16:15)

  • We believe in divine healing and miracles of faith. (James 5:14-15; Matthew 11:28; Psalm 30:2)

  • We believe in water baptism as a public confession of faith as demonstrated by Jesus. (Acts 2:38; Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 28:19; ) The baptism of the Holy Spirit Baptism is a gift from God.

  • We believe Jesus Christ will come again to the earth personally, visibly and bodily as the fulfillment of God’s plan. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Matthew 25:31-46; Titus 2:13)

  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of those who receive Jesus as their Savior. (John 14:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-16; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53)

  • We believe that all who accept the Lord Jesus Christ, become children of God and will have eternal life in Heaven. (John 14:1-7; John 3:16)
